SAVE CASTLETON VISITOR CENTRE AND MUSEUM

The Issue

The UK's National Parks were created to protect special places and encourage people to understand and enjoy them. Our Visitor Centre and Museum attract thousands of visitors each year, giving free information and advice. It is fully accessible for people with disabilities and is a warm and welcoming place for everyone.

Now the Peak District National Park Authority is considering closing all its Visitor centres as part of a cost-cutting exercise.

In Castleton this would inevitably mean the closure of the Museum and the splitting up of all the photographs, documents and artefacts that have been donated to us over the last 50 years.
