TWAlliance is a cross-party group of residents who love the borough of Tunbridge Wells, think that it could be better and is pushing for the council to demonstrate joined-up thinking in its decision making (it’s an ambitious group!). TWAlliance has recently instructed legal counsel to challenge the council on its process. At the top of the list is having spent £4m of taxpayers’ money before talking with Hoopers to secure access. There still isn't even a business plan! At best it’s incompetence, at worst it’s unlawful. What TWAlliance needs now is members. This way it can demonstrate to the council, once again, the weight of opposition to this project. By joining you’ll be kept up to date on issues in the borough (it's not all about civic complex - take a look at the website, www.twalliance.com, to see other things the group is interested in), as well as finding out ways to get involved in the campaign.
