15,000 signatures is what we need to save the Astro.

The Astro which is at the heart of the orton’s is condemned and deemed not fit for use, currently it sits there getting worse and worse until eventually it gets so bad it has to be demolished and then the land will be sold to a property developer and flats will be built.

Myself and many others have many good memories at the Astro which the younger generations won’t get to experience so it would be a shame to see it go. 

I have made it clear that when this project does happen the Astro will be open to the public and not behind lock and key as it was previously which will mean as a community we need to look after the pitch together. I am already in talks with vivacity and the council to get this project underway but now is the time I need help if we get enough signatures the FA have said they will contribute to the rebuild. 

Once we have got the Astro back to a usable state I will be making sure events like Friday night football make a return aswell as other events.
