Two local residents are trying to stop the Nearly Festival from continuing in the Abbey Gardens.  This is a community park and the community should be allowed to enjoy a variety of events there.  Due to their complaint the Council will now be reviewing the issuing of a licence for future festivals.   Please, do not let these residents "cherry pick" and dictate to the Council which events should be held in our community.

If you want to save this popular family event, sign the petition and lets show the Council that for once the voices of the majority should be listened to and this wonderful family festival should be allowed to continue bringing fun and enjoyment to the hundreds that attend.
