Help the community by signing the petition and showing up at the August Commissioners Meeting in Bryan County. I cannot put into words the spiritual feeling I got while visiting this location. It was like time stood still, the traffic suddenly became quiet, I got a goosebumps chill on a 92 degree day, and after leaving I felt unburdened, like a weight had been lifted from me that I unknowingly carried. When we got to the car my 8 year old said "Mom, I feel like there's military people buried here." I said why do you say that? I knew there was but there's no indication of that onsite. She said "I just feel it inside. " Immediately after leaving I felt a strong desire to return. We don't need ANOTHER Parkers gas station, can we not have any area that is preserved? You can also help by writing to each Bryan commissioner asking for denial, let's preserve historical Bryan County feel.
