Contrary to what you might believe, IT IS STILL NOT TOO LATE TO SAVE BRISTOL ZOO GARDENS FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS...
- Bristol Zoo has not been sold.
- Planning permission is not yet secured.
- There are still animals on site.
Having worked voluntarily for over a year to try to save our Zoo for all of us, I am now raising money to fund the formation of an alternative plan with industry experts. This plan will be presented to Zoo shareholders and trustees, in order to persuade them that there is another way forward: they can still avert selling our 187-year-old Zoo Gardens to be turned into luxury housing.
- A conservation charity should not be chopping down 162 of its own trees.
- A conservation charity should not be pouring concrete on its own historic botanical gardens.
But it’s a race against time.
