Hello!
Thank you so much for signing my petition to 'Save Bristol Zoo Gardens From Becoming A Private Housing Estate'.
Although I started this petition back in July and this is the first update I have posted, I have been working away quietly behind the scenes on this issue for the past few months. I've been talking to many people and listening and learning to many inside sources I have developed at the Zoo who wish to remain anonymous for the time being, Zoo shareholders, ex-trustees, directors of other Zoos, academics and many other people besides, gathering information and intelligence.
Because of all of that, I am now ready to launch our campaign to 'Save Bristol Zoo Gardens' - the key point being that contrary to what the Zoo would like you to believe, IT IS NOT TOO LATE!
So....please come to our public meeting this Thursday 8th December at 7.30pm, 1532 Theatre, University Road, BS8 1SR to learn a lot more about the real reasons behind the Zoo’s closure, the Zoo’s plans for the Wild Place and the future of Bristol Zoological Gardens. Guest speakers to include Professor Alice Roberts. Please see the attached flyer for more info.
I hope to see you there!
