Thank you for continuing to support our campaign calling for an independent review of Southend East Community Academy Trust (SECAT). We have been working with Bayo Alaba MP throughout the summer. Following his July meeting, a further session has been scheduled for Wednesday with SECAT representatives, parents and carers. Mr Alaba has requested that questions be submitted in advance, though there will also be time for open-floor questions during the meeting.

The petition will be formally delivered on Wednesday. We firmly believe that an urgent, independent review of SECAT, its leadership and governance is required. We all want a positive future for our children and young people, not just at Bournes Green Schools, but across our whole community.
