The issue

Please sign our petition to save the Boronia Heights Secondary College site from a housing development.

This beautiful 8.05 hectare site is currently home to a wide variety of native flora and fauna.

The Victorian State Government plans to clear the majority of this site for high density housing (10% inclusionary housing).

This action will result in significant loss of rare flora and habitat for many precious animals and community enjoyment.

We are calling on The State Government to stop the development at 40 Mount View Rd, Boronia, Victoria, Australia, and retain the beauty of this rare remaining greenspace as Boronia Heights Memorial Park: a tribute to the Gallipoli Lone Pine Anzac memorial, to the tragic loss of two students (Bung Siriboon and Sarah Loughton), in recognition of its importance as a wildlife corridor to the Dandenong Ranges and to local people’s well-being.
