Parking up at Blue Bay beach in Old Halls Head to watch the ocean, is one of Mandurah's locals & guests favourite past times. 

How many times have you parked up and watched the surfers or dolphins at sunset? Or sat in comfort as a winter storm rolled in? Or had a family picnic in the car, with the boot/hatch open? This is one of the only locations on the coast where you can enjoy this.

The City of Mandurah is proposing to remove approx. 30 x 90-degree parking bays which overlook the beach and replace them with only 8 parallel parking bays. With very little infrastructure to sit and enjoy the view of the ocean.

Please help me preserve this iconic location!

My proposal is to retain the 90-degee parking bays for all of us to enjoy the ocean views. Or devise an alternative parking solution to accommodate all beach goers.
