Betti Stradling skate park has always been a Bastian of hope and a place for the local skate community to gather. The closure of the park for repairs is now overshadowed by the looming threat of repurposing. This is unacceptable, as leaving the local skate community with no place to go would be horrible and detrimental for not just the youth but the adults who enjoy the park. Skate parks are necessary, as they give people who are trying to enjoy an Olympic sport a place to skate without damaging property and being harassed by police or fined, positions that could put lives in jeopardy. We've already lost two skate parks in Broward county in the past 2 years (loggers run, and ramp 48) Please if you care about our health wealth and safety, sign this petition to keep Betti Stradling skate park open.
