More than 500,000 of you have stood up against British Columbia’s wolf cull.
Since 2015, over 2,500 wolves have been killed — shot from helicopters in the name of caribou recovery. February remains one of the deadliest months of the year.
The government of our Canadian province, British Columbia, says an internal review of the program is underway, with findings expected in early 2026. But so far, there’s been little transparency — and no meaningful shift in policy.
Meanwhile they’re spending $1,000,000 annually to murder the wolves.
Public opinion is clear:
- Most people were unaware of the scale of the killings.
- A majority oppose the wolf cull.
- Support for aerial wolf killing is declining.
That’s powerful. But what happens next depends on how we organize and act.
Pacific Wild is building our next three-year strategy to protect wolves and the wild places they depend on.
If you signed this petition, your voice matters to us – even if you don’t know Pacific Wild well. The things you know about conservation and the issues you care about, are important.
