Active Ashton will be closing on the 2nd of September. They say they can’t afford to run the building anymore. They’ve asked the council for more money which but to no avail.

Tameside Council promised Ashton a new building years ago. They’re fully aware that the buildings been deteriorating to a terrible standard for years.

This is an essential service. It’s so beneficial to people’s mental and physical well being. Please sign our petition to yet again fight for a building that is a lifeline for so many people.
