Ashes Town is a popular custom Pony Town server. It is quite important to people like me and my friends, and it brought us all together.

However, recently, the owner has decided to shut it down after drama behind the scenes. We're trying to save it.

A major aspect of this is prior team member Zeeb, who was openly a nazi and revealed being Xenophobic, Harassing other players, and even grooming a minor.

Since then, current owner Nightly has decided to close the servers on August 29th, and the Character Editor on September 5th. Leading up to this has been a significant loss of Assets, Legal Disputes, Conflict with Pony Town, and more. 

Nightly wants to move on from the project, however, in the process, he is essentially nuking a important hangout and community hub, one where many players talk, meet, and play together. We don't think this is the right path. We think if Nightly really has to quit, leadership should be passed on to another member.
