The Caddo Parish School Board wants to close Arthur Circle Elementary and transfer all the students to Broadmoor Middle Lab and make that into a Pre-K through 8th grade school. Doing this will leave an empty building in the Broadmoor neighborhood and bring the property value down.

Schools are also a very important part of a community. It brings a balance in the neighborhood and removing the school will leave a void in our Broadmoor community.

Combining an elementary and middle school together as well is not beneficial to our kids. This will mix lower and upper level students together and overcrowd a school when we should have smaller class sizes.
