Super pet is a local pet store in Salisbury Maryland. It’s a store where animals face the most awful abuse including Reptiles, Cats, Dogs, Hamsters, Mice, Fish, Birds, Reptiles, etc. This store has lots of space and the lack of tank space that give these animals are horrible with the amount of store space they have. I see multiple mice and rats in one small tank for hours on end. I see tiny show metal white cages for Bunnies, Dogs, Ferrets, etc! I want to know how animals in the back are being treated also!! I have seen several underweight reptiles, Leopard geckos who are skin and bones. I have seen scaleless Bearded Dragons with normal ones knowing these animals need special care. Seeing skinks I’m extremely small tanks though their large animals, one with stuck shed covering it’s eye which is dangerous. I also saw in their cat room one large bowl where cats share out of, This could lead to aggression in the cats and also over feeding of these cats. They also have piranhas who are out in the open where they offer a $1 to feed them(Which I find okay) but, They’re not in a dark spot with not a lot of humans walking by it, these animals require to be in a dark space or else it’ll stress them out. They also have a bearded dragon that is the pet store pet, He has lots of injury to his mouth. I want this store to receive new staff who care and are trained or have this store shut down and these animals get proper care somewhere else, these animals do not deserve this.
