As passionate members of our community, we are deeply committed to the development of the youngest in our society. Our Early Childhood and Special Education Preschool Program stands at the forefront of this commitment, yet we now stand at risk of closure due to rent costs. Our plea is directed to the Mayor and the Yonkers Board of Education - we ask for their support in obtaining affordable rent so that our program can continue to prosper.

The services we provide within our program, including speech, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and counseling, play a critical role in helping our students reach key developmental milestones. We are not simply a preschool program – we are an essential service for our children, their families, and the committed staff who dedicate their lives to nurturing these young minds.

It is estimated that early intervention programs like ours can increase the development rate of children with special needs by up to 30% (National Early Childhood Technical Assistance Center). Yet, our crucial program risks closure if we can't secure affordable rent.
