Recently, a 70 year old photographer was tragically killed in an encounter with a mother moose.  She was only protecting her babies from whom she mistook for a hunter.  The photographer loved animals and his family do not want the mother moose killed and the babies orphaned.  We would like Alaska Fish and Game to educate people about moose coexistence, instead of killing this mother moose, who was only protecting her babies.
