Today, on 2/2/2026, it was announced that Adobe Animate will be discontinued on 3/1/2026. While I understand that technologies are evolving, Animate is an important program as well. Adobe's suggested alternatives don't include the tools required to help users with animation. There are currently no tools that can take on Animate's role or provide the essential tools to help users with their animations. Dismissing this tool would be difficult for Adobe subscribers who find the tool essential to their work. Discontinuing Animate will make it difficult for users to find an alternative tool for their animation work, especially since Adobe Animate uses a frame-by-frame workflow to help them maintain a steady process. Their decision will make it harder for aspiring animators to practice or find jobs. I would genuinely appreciate it if you would take the time to support this petition and help keep Adobe Animate running.
