The Issue
The Florida Legislature has filed a bill to discredit healthcare practitioners' from using their respective titles. The current wording is intentionally vague, and would negatively impact the work and credibility of licensed medical practitioners such as Acupuncture Physicians and Doctors of Oriental Medicine.
House Bill 583 and Senate Bill 230 needs to be revoked, and our work as healthcare providers SUPPORTED, not DISCREDITED.
FSOMA asks that all focus and efforts be directed at contacting your local State House of Representatives...
The process in the Senate is done for now...
