Save Acton Up Kitten Rescue!

The Issue

Hello all, most of you know us, we need your help and support.

We have been continually visited  by Animal Control over the years and challenged on our having too many kittens and cats at our rescue even though all are eventually adopted out to forever homes.

We're now applying to the LA County for the proper permit to prevent them from shutting us down and stopping us from helping any more kittens and cats in need.

Obtaining the permit depends on you.  By signing this petition, you are telling the county that you want us to keep saving kittens and cats.

If we don't obtain the permit from the county, we will have to stop helping all those kittens and cats in need.

No permit means:

  • No more rescued kittens being adopted from us.

  • No more help, guidance, or spay and neuter assistance

  • No more basic medical help from us for kittens and cats that are in desperate situations

  • No more adoption help

  • No more fostering

  • MORE kittens and cats left on their own to die

Acton Up Kitten Rescue has been a non-profit operating since 2019. and has helped rescue, rehome, facilitate spay and neuter, trap neuter release, and rehabilitate approximately 280 cats and kittens per year, with our annual successful adoptions averaging more than 200 cats and kittens per year.

We have been recognized by Petco Love with a lifesaving grant in 2021 as helping in the community we service to save kittens and cats and reduce the number of community cats in the area.  We also have been confirmed by PetFinder.com, RescueMe.org, GuideStar.org, Cuddly.com and Adoptapet.com as a recognized rescue non-profit.

We currently receive approximately more than 280 help requests per year for assistance from the following communities among others:   Palmdale, Lancaster, Acton, Santa Clarita, Rosamond, Los Angeles, Canyon Country, Agua dulce, Newhall, Castaic, Leona Valley, Littlerock, Valencia, Lake Hughes, Lake Los Angeles, Quartz Hill, Saugus, Sylmar, Chatsworth, Glendale, Glendora, Porter Ranch, San Gabriel, Sun Valley.

Please sign this petition if you want us to keep helping kittens and cats.
