Unfortunately it seems as though the decision has already been made to remove the large animals, but I’m re activating this petition as a way to show support for keeping the large farm animals at the career center.

like I’ve said before, these animals are what provide career center students with such unique experiences. It’s not hard to get experience caring for small mammals or reptiles, but large farm animals are especially educational.

the main reason it’s upsetting is because these animals are old. They’re gonna be very upset and even depressed if they have to leave the place and the people that have cared for them their whole lives. I’m afraid this will also impact their health. If APS had some patience, these animals would probably have passed in 2-5 years time and then they could continue with their plans. It’s unfair to the animals and I would argue it’s unethical.

as previously stated, the decisions are pretty much finalized. Even if nothing is done about it, letting our voices be heard is the most we can do. Please share this with anyone who hasn’t signed yet to show support to this unique program.
