The tentative date for the proposed car wash appeal hearing before the Glendale Design Review Board is Thursday, August 27, 2026, at 5:00 PM, and the public is invited to attend and participate.

I'll post another update as soon as this hearing date is officially confirmed. No matter what happens at this hearing, this will not be the end of the road. If the Design Review Board approves the car wash project, that decision can still be appealed, to go to the City Council's desk for a vote.
In a recent email to customers, Acapulco Glendale shared this important message: "We've heard there's been some confusion, so we wanted to set the record straight: Acapulco Glendale is OPEN and we're here serving all your Mexican favorites!"
So please CONTINUE VISITING ACAPULCO OFTEN, bringing friends and family, and helping spread the word that they're still OPEN! They're still fighting for the right to stay, and we've been given a rare opportunity to help give this beloved Glendale landmark a second life. The stronger the community support remains, the stronger the case for the parent company to continue the fight.
