Thank you to everyone for your support and thank you to those of you who have joined the petition recently due to continued media coverage.

If you haven't heard, the developers offer to move the house to a new site has failed and there are now no takers interested in footing the enormous bill to actually transport the property. The developers offer $50,000 to assist moving to a new location, however, estimates to transport realistically fall in the $200,000-$300,00 plus range and this has ultimately put off all takers.

Being one step closer to demolition means our voices is likely the final barrier to this outcome. Council have yet to approve consent and will advise when submissions to objection are open, this is when we will need to put forward our own opinions and objections. Council are well aware of this petition and will likely take it into account, however, support towards these submissions are ultimately what will help us sway the outcome.
