Prevent Killer of K-9 Baston from being rehired

The Issue

A Savannah State University K-9 was found dead after being left in a handler’s vehicle,. According to the police report, Baston, 7 year old German Shepard, passed away at his handler’s home after being left in a car for three or four hours in temperatures listed at 95 degrees. The handler went inside to bring in food to his family and planned on returning to get Baston, but instead ate his meal and fell asleep.

Now Savannah State University wants to rehire K-9 Handler Max Barber. This must be stopped.  Justice for K-9 Baston !! Please Call the President at Savannah State University at 912.358.4000 to let your voice be heard.

My husband was stationed in Germany with the U.S. Army in the 80's, which is how we met. Ever since I moved here, the pet-overpopulation and abuse/neglect to animals has been my biggest concern. Having been raised in an environment where there were no strays and all domestic pets were family members and treated as such, it has been a real struggle for me to live here...
