Dear Alderwoman/Alderman/Mayor
We do not want Public Works moving into our neighborhood. Our community has for too long survived a clear disinvestment of Savannahs economic wealth. Historic Carver Village deserves an investment we can grow with, regardless of any losses that will occur. The bigger loss would be the diminishes of our community quality of life. We need a development that invest in Flesh and Blood, not Brick and Mortar.
Our loss for the future of this African American Historic District is far greater than any current loss monetary. Don't displace our history, culture and way of life.
We need our representatives to speak to us, speak up for us, don't just take the first answer. Please stop this development, it won't be the first financial loss for the city, look around the Westside been losing for a long time. This loss can be corrected! Please help us grow, invest in us.
Thank you,
