Did you know? That Entomological Warfare happened in Carver Village...by our United States Military.

For the longest time I didn't quite understand what Mr. Wilson was saying about Carver Village and it's connection to yellow fever mosquitoes and the development location. I knew he said mosquitoes were in the area of the development, and I knew he said yellow fever. I couldn't understand how it correlated to Carver Village since yellow fever outbreak was before Carver Village existence. Then I researched it. The church of Scientology obtained classified documents through the Freedom of Information request and made it available. So, in fact between 1956-1958 The United States military released an unknown amount of the female mosquito aedes aegypti type over the woodland area, now soon slated to be the city Public Works facility, to conduct first a test an Entomological Warfare test on American citizens without their knowledge, living in Carver Village, with the cooperation of local residents. What a horrific act...this is a comparison to the Tuskegee Syphilis Test and The Bombing of Black Wall Street. People had fevers, respiratory distress, stillbirths, encephalitis, typhoid and some recorded deaths. How is this not being commemorated? This is even more horrific than The Weeping Time.... there is no historical marker or anything...to remember this horrible act placed on the people of Carver Village, there isn't a record of families affected by it, compensated nothing... So , now is the dirty secret being buried, never to be told again? Yet, despite this unjust act, this community that still survives can't get anything that will help the community grow? This site should have a historical marker, and be commemorated so it won't be forgotten. This is truly a Human Rights issue that has not been dealt with or resolved. Where are the survivors? Where they compensated? There is still an opportunity for the City Council to rectify this wrong, through giving the community a development it can grow with.

The community has voiced they don't care about the losses that will occur financially, think about the losses that have been endure to survive living in Carver Village? Right the Wrong; Give Carver Village a Development that it can grow with!
