The Saskatoon SPCA is in danger of being shut down if it does not receive further funding. It is a vital part of our community and it is a shame it gotten to the point that it has almost been forgotten about by the higher ups that have the power to save it.  While the city coucil and mayor are approving tax hikes on an annual basis to fund things like a brand new library and bike lanes, the SPCA has all but been forgotten about.  For a non kill shelter and non profit organization it is incredibly sad and disheartening that those that have the power to save it refuse to do so. Thousands of familes have gotten their pets from this organization and  have become percent members of the household. I for one habe a hard time seeing a future without this important part of our city. Please do not just let the SPCA be put down and euthanized.
