I happened to look at my petition this morning and was stunned to see that it has grown to 33,000 signatures. It was 23,000 last week.
It’s hard to put my joy into words. As someone who started alone in this fight for justice, it is so deeply reassuring and motivating to see this kind of public support.
I want to thank the 10,000 new people who decided to stand with me. Your signature and comments are so encouraging.
Your support couldn’t have come at a better time. I will be following up with the Shipping Ministry tomorrow to ask for a meeting next week. They know about my petition. I’m sure they will be astonished when I tell them how big the campaign has grown. Help me take this petition to every home.
