The Guggenheim Museum should create more accessible student pricing

The Guggenheim Museum should create more accessible student pricing
The Issue
I am a university student in New York City who is interested in art and often goes to museums. Being a university student, fortunately, allows me free or heavily discounted entry to many museums in Manhattan, including the MoMa, the Met, the Whitney, the Museum of the Moving Image, the New Museum and many more. However, the Guggenheim Museum is not included on this list. I wanted to go to the museum and looked up student pricing. The Guggenheim offers a measly discount for students resulting in an $18 ticket price. This is absurd.
This price is not reasonable for college students and simply cannot be afforded by many. I think college students of a lower income are particularly disadvantaged by this pricing system as they have no way to visit the museum. The museum does offer a 'pay what you want night', however when I tried to visit, the line wrapped out the door, down the street, and around the corner. Considering this promotion only last for three hours, one day a week, waiting in line for over an hour seemed futile.
I am proposing that the Guggenheim revises their student pricing system in order to make the museum more accessible to university students. The current system is unreasonable and deprives students who cannot afford the costly $18 ticket from accessing the museum and learning more about art. Something like $10 would be much more reasonable, or even better a "pay what you can system".
