On the 25th of May, a conservative Senator from South Australia, Cory Bernardi, posted publicly on Facebook a childish slur of the Transgender Community featuring a comical Trans Woman standing up peeing in the entrance of a Women's bathroom with a young comical girl running out the door as the bearded Trans Woman yells Bigot.

This comes shortly after a Man was charged with Raping his Transgender Step Daughter over a period of 13 years in the Neighbouring State of Victoria

We've all be following the debacle of HB2 in North Carolina and other US States putting into effect anti Transgender Laws.

This sort of slander, especially from our elected officials, can lead to injury and death of Transgender People and has no place in Australian society.

We demand a public apology to the Transgender Community for this slanderous and dangerous behaviour.
