School dress codes discriminate against young women, its sexist. We should be able to wear clothes that make us comfortable and confident. Confidence is highly needed in highschool for tests and learning. Showing our shoulders is not a distraction. The distraction is leaving class to change clothes. Girls feel like their education isn’t as important. victims of sexual assualt feel uncomfortable with people telling them that they have to cover their body becaus “boys can’t control themselves.” Boys can control themselves, girls are not objects.
