Prison design or housing design? Many units are 386 sq ft. Currently, there are over 587 affordable units being worked on in Santa Cruz some will have more than one person & 1288 market rate units. Write the cityplan@swantacruzca.gov before 12 noon Wed. Dec 18. Tell planning a 3 story Mediterranean designed building where the developer can still apply for federal dollars for affordable units is a better plan.
The current plan is too large only 43 parking spaces for 140 units. More than one person may live in each unit.
Request a new complete application. The impacts due to traffic in a main travel artery when Fed X, Amazon, & garbage trucks are required to back onto the street is too dangerous. This along with the shade that will be cast on the nearby homes are both health concerns.

Write about the health concerns with trucks backing out onto the street in a busy area, the health due to the amount of shade on nearby homes, and the concern of the stability of land due to water runoff in that area. Attend the meeting at 7 pm, Dec 19. The more people who attend the better.
