The 831 Water St, project in Santa Cruz is asking for modifications with increased height and density on a relatively small lot for this size project in a busy area. See the photo. The previous proposal had one floor lower for part of the project and commercial space which could have benefitted the nearby neighborhood. The new proposal has the commercial space removed. 
This may be one of the few times we have to voice our concerns about the amount of traffic, lack of parking spaces, and the safety needs of the young students who travel that street. There is a school caddy corner to the property and a middle school nearby.

Original parking was 136 spaces now 43 parking spaces.

We need a large number of people to attend the Zoom meeting to express what is important to them. In the past, we have been able to ask questions and state opinions anonymously.
