This is a critical meeting. The staff is recommending that a special committee come up with a specific proposal, based on a report that is mostly emphasizing "build, build, build" - even urging that the City virtually eliminate parking requirements for new developments and that densities beyond what the state requires be shoehorned into our already impacted neighborhoods. It's important that the Council understand that preserving what is special and unique about our community has to be a high priority!
