The closing of the Garden Route and Eastern Cape beaches has an impact on vacationers which will lead to the downfall of small local businesses.

Reasons for beaches to be open:

•Enough ventilation on the beach, enough space for social distancing, the salt water cleans out your sinuse pathways.

• Beaches can be closed on public holidays

• Not all beaches are so busy (once again more than enough space to social distance)

How can clubs, restaurants and malls be open which has minimum ventilation but outside activities like beaches and parks be closed?

Fishing is allowed on the beach if you have a valid fishing license, so you can go and get a license and go to the beach, how pathetic.
