In light of the International outrage at the death of Africa's Cecil the Lion,  We the undersigned, believe it is irresponsible for Pottery Barn to be offering children's symbolic 'trophy' animal products such as the Bear and Zebra Shaped Rugs for children, offered for sale by your corporation.

Moreover, also offered in  your online store is a sheepskin rug for children. This product is made from the skin of a real sheep once alive, and now a demonstration of cruelty to animals which you would like us to buy for our children.

So called 'toys' such as this not only represent cruelty to animals but the complete disregard of the balance these animals play in our very structure, through their continued existence.

We, as parents and concerned citizens of the world try our utmost to instill in our children a sense of kindness & compassion and these lessons are completely lost with these products in your online store.

 We are networking this petition globally, to have these items removed from production and availability through your online sales and stores.

Please discontinue the sales of these 'toys'  immediately, and replace them with compassionate substitutes.
