Stanley Bros own and operate Bastrop Kill Pen in Bastrop, La located 1815 Auction Barn Rd Bastrop, La 71220. Bastrop Kill Pen is widely known for their cruel and inhumane treatment of auction animals on their property. Many are sick, corralled in small spaces resulting in many injuries and death of many of the animals. Their business practices are less than ethical and their treatment of animals on their property is illegal as defined by Lousianna law. 

In August 2016 a dog was cruely tortured on their property when Boots Stanley and Steven Sadler slit the throat of the dog multiple times on the auction property owned by Stanley Bros. Both were arrested by Bastrop Police on 8-24-2016 for multiple counts of cruelty to animals. 

The conditions in which animals are housed while waiting auction is horrendous. There is no food or water as defined by Lousiana animal cruelty laws. Hundreds of horses have died as a result of this kill pen. 

This petition is going to the city clerk of Bastrop, La to call for action and SUSPEND IMMEDIATELY and/or REVOKE the business liscense of this kill pen for illegal business practices and cruelty of animals. 

It is STRONGLY ENCOURAGED you write or call City of Bastrop and call for an end of Stanley Bros business practices by putting a STOP to their business!!
