The residents of Murano Street Student Village have not been provided with adequate methods of disposing of sanitary waste. The small flats have never been given sanitary bins and some of the large flats who initially were given bins, have had them removed without explanation.

This petition seeks to highlight our dissatisfaction with Sanctuary Students and urge them to change their policy of not providing all students with a safe and hygienic way of disposing of our sanitary products, condoms and razors. 

The current situation is unhygienic, uncomfortable and potentially damaging to those who wish to keep their periods discrete. Needs are not being met.
