The time of appeasement towards Serbia must finally come to an end. It has already failed in the past, as we are currently painfully seeing in Ukraine. We don't need a new war in the Balkans, we don't need another war in Europe. We finally need clear limitations for those who put peace in Europe at risk. Serbia under Alexander Vucic is playing with fire. Serbia interferes in the politics of sovereign states (e.g. Kosovo, Montenegro) and stands with Russia. The EU candidate country does not support the common sanctions, the Director of Serbian intelligence agency attends a conference of the aggressor country Russia during the war. And don't forget the cyber Bot factories facilitating Russias Cyber Warfare on Kosovo and Montenegro.

While the protests in Belgrade are putting Vucic under pressure, he is fomenting conflicts in the Republic of Kosovo in order to distract attention from his own situation, thus risking a dangerous escalation of the situation. This must finally come to an end. For a serious deescalation of the situation, the causes and not the symptoms of the problem must finally be treated. Vucic has been stroked enough, now it is time for clear words and strict sanctions against the undermining of democracy and the rule of law. Enough with the policy of appeasement. Sanctions against Serbia, no EU money to support an autocracy.
