Key figures in the Georgian government, along with stakeholders of "Georgian Dream", have been gravely tarnishing our democracy, rigging elections and consistently undermining our democratic systems. The international community, particularly the United States, has expressed concern about the state of democracy in Georgia due to the controversial 2024 parliamentary elections (US Department of State).

The effective solution to this pressing issue is to place these figures on the “Magnitsky List”. This list allows the U.S. government to place visa bans and asset freezes on individuals who violate human rights and engage in corruption. It is a means of holding them accountable for their actions, deterring others from following in their wrongful path, and safeguarding democracy in places where it is under threat.
