Hello everyone, my name is Craig and my family and I have resided in San Marino for over a year now.
First, let me say thank you to the original petitioners for entrusting me to be the representative for all of us in our San Marino Community.
I want to give you all some background and qualifications in my experience with HOA's so you can feel comfortable in knowing that I know what I am doing. Prior to my family and I residing in San Marino, we resided in a development called Livingston Farms, in Fletcher, NC. I served on the Community HOA for 15 years, 12 years of which I served as HOA President In a community with over 430 homes. I worked hand-in-hand with our property management group (IPM / Tons of Rentals), to include budgeting, vendors contracts, and with attorneys. So, regardless of the outcome, I understand both sides from the homeowner and HOA and will represent San Marino in a direct but respectfully tactful manner.
Please understand that I will have our Community's best interest at heart while expressing the concerns regarding the pool and it's continued closure. If the pool is to remain close, I will expect justification as to why and ensure it is within the best interest of the community. If no reasonable justification can be made, I would expect them to offer a solution and or compromise that both the community and HOA can agree upon.
Again, thank you to those in the community who started this process. I will do my best to get answers for our Community and report back to the original petitioners once I have met with the HOA representative.
I pray you and your families all remained safe through last night's storm. Have a blessed evening and God bless,
Craig
