It's been quite a while since our last update. So much has happened and we'll definitely give you an update on that shortly. We're still fighting for justice and accountability in Jaxon's death.
If you're in San Francisco this Saturday March 4th, stop by Civic Center Plaza at SF City Hall and support us at the Gathering For Action: Justice for Jaxon Sales vigil/rally at SF City Hall sponsored by Lavender Phoenix. See below for details:

As we approach the 3rd anniversary of Jaxon’s death, we are once again gathering to demand action for justice and peace for Jaxon and accountability for his death. We also demand accountability from the agencies in San Francisco to properly protect and ensure the safety of all victims of violence with a process that is respectful, free from discrimination, and undertaken with care and empathy for the victims and their loved ones. On Saturday, March 4th, please join us to honor Jaxon Sales at our vigil from 1-3 PM at SF Civic Center Plaza. We will be joined by Jaxon’s family and our Bay Area community as we grieve Jaxon’s untimely death, honor his life, and demand true accountability and safety for our people.
Jaxon should be here. Jaxon was a young gay Asian man, a vibrant jokester with a big heart. He was, and is, deeply loved by his friends and family. Jaxon’s family and community want answers from SFPD, the District Attorney and the Medical Examiner (OCME) but they refused a substantive investigation, and one public official justified their refusal by saying "the gay community uses GHB."
Jaxon’s family deserves the truth. The SFPD, Medical Examiner and District Attorney’s responses are violent and dehumanizing. They speak to deep institutional homophobia and racism. They give Jaxon's family no clarity, accountability, or honesty as they grieve their son's death. It was only at Jaxon’s vigil last February, 2 years after his death, that SFPD Chief Scott said he was willing to meet with them. His words to the press do not give Jaxon’s family or community transparency or healing. This is unacceptable, and we demand more for Jaxon.
