Change Update
Each week has brought significant steps in our fight for justice for Jaxon. Whether that step is big or small, it brings us closer to our goal. This past week we spent a good portion of time with the media sharing Jaxon's story and our fight for justice and answers. On Monday, our local ABC7 Reporter Dion Lim interviewed us. We were able to share who Jaxon was as a person and stories about his friendships and his time with our family. The link to our ABC7 interview is attached here.
We are being heard and in many instances, such as with Senator Wiener's public letter to SFPD and SF OCME, we are finding support. But we still don't have a proper and thorough investigation and we still don't have answers. We've been copied on all the emails you have taken time to send to those who can make the decision to reopen the case and actually truly investigate what happened to Jaxon. Yet we still haven't received a response from those who are critical to that decision to investigate Jaxon's case. The questions about his death are still unanswered and we continue to uncover even more questions as time goes by.
Please continue to write emails and share the petition. Your support and your voices are making a difference.
Thank you for standing with us in this difficult time. Jaxon's life matters, what happened to him matters, his future and all of his plans and dreams mattered. The appropriate investigation, one that thoroughly examines the circumstances of his death, will not only help us to understand how and why he died. Our sincere hope is that his story, the true and thorough details of his story, will prevent others from being hurt or killed if they find themselves in a similar, dangerous experience.
With gratitude for your support,
Angie, Jim & Alex
