Jake Peavy was and is the favorite pitcher for many Padres fans during his career in San Diego. He was a fiery competitor that all of us loved and cherished. He had dominant seasons in ‘04 and ‘07 with a CY Young Award in ‘07 while being a 3 time All-Star. Jake deserves the admiration and recognition to have his #44 retired as a San Diego Padre. Let’s grow the Padres’ ring of honor by celebrating the best Padres pitcher of the last few decades.
