Join the San Diego Tenants General Assembly this Friday at 6:00pm.  We will discuss the current housing crisis and the state of the San Diego Tenants Union.  We will touch on victories and ongoing struggles.  SDTU will present strategies to fight off the impacts of inflation through a cooperative local economy established through our tenant associations.  SDTU attorneys will present on our lawsuit vs. the San Diego housing commission. Policy updates will be provided. We will discuss the rent relief program, the eviction moratorium, just cause protection improvements being proposed and rent control as our most effective hedge against inflation.  SDTU  will recognize tenant leaders and we will hear about their struggles.  We will hear from our popular education professors about the struggles that propel women to the forefront of our struggle.  We will conclude with conversations with radical candidates running in the upcoming election and the need for SDTU to back a popular movement for socialist political party alignment.  

We will also announce a new membership drive that will enroll members in the opportunity to win $4000 dollars by joining the union and enjoying the protections of SDTU.
