Gene James was the 4th top vote-getter in the 2018 City Council race, just barely missing the opportunity to fill one of the three vacant seats on the Council.  Gene earned the confidence of 10.1% of the voters.  The 3rd top vote-getter earned 10.9% of the votes.  

Although we know that Councilman Steve Swartz's unexpected passing left a big void that can't easily be filled in our beautiful Village By The Sea, we feel that Gene is up to the task. 

The voters have already used their ballots to communicate who they want on our Council.  That person is Gene James.  Please appoint Gene James to fill the vacancy so our Council can be whole again and get back to serving our City.
