The SPCA Tampa Bay is now encouraging people to purchase dogs from breeders through the animal pound's new service called, "For All Dogs." The partnership involves SPCA Tampa Bay, Pinnacle Pet, and Sunshine Puppies. The program aims to redefine animal welfare and shape the future of the pet industry. It allows SPCA Tampa Bay to rehome adult dogs and puppies from "responsible" breeders into forever homes and support the health of puppies from local pet stores. The program also emphasizes transparency in responsibly raising and caring for pets. SPCA Tampa Bay provides veterinary care for the puppies at Sunshine Puppies' pet stores and establishes a relationship between the pet owners and veterinarians. The pilot program offers popular purebred and mixed-breed adult dogs for adoption, as well as "perfectly imperfect puppies" with minor cosmetic differences or manageable health conditions. The program is the first of its kind, and its duration is not specified.
