ATTENTION: River was actually Canelo and had an owner who was never notified, despite him being microchipped!!!!! They called and went in multiple times looking for him, including the day they killed him! He was lost in the 8th and killed on the 10th! He DID NOT have distemper! This is yet another dog that belonged to someone that AVAS killed!!!! Those killers need to put in jail for their crimes!!!! THIS IS NOT OKAY!!!!!!!

River #229359 was given just hours to be saved due to showing signs of possible distemper and unfortunately, no rescue saved him. He was never publicly listed and our admin did not receive the email sent out by the shelter in time to post him. I'm sorry we failed you River.
