In a recent phone call with staff at Apple Valley Animal Shelter(AVAS), you'd be shocked to learn of their elation that the County will be supplying more staff to aid in killing the innocent animals because they are having trouble finding enough people willing to kill the innocent. So, a part of what AVAS is requesting is more money to employ more killers. The city hopes to sign this contract in June but don't be fooled by the June aigning date. They are working out all the details right now. We must act now.

The Town Manager referred to the new employees who will be trained killers when he referred to new staff being added per the renewed contract. He said, "The county is open to adding staff."
